Declaring Independence
The Fall of The Chinese Empire and Demanding Liberty
After the Chinese empire fell, multiple nations wanted to split from the rule of China. These nations included:
- The Tibetans
- The Mongolians
- The Taiwanese
- Ect.
Since the Chinese empire fell Tibet felt that they should be their own country and wanted their own government with their own flag, rights, and laws. When the Chinese government was informed on Tibet's idea, it angered them because the felt that Tibet was a part of China. They felt Tibet was something that China rightfully owned, so Tibet didn't have the right to just split from the country. Unconcerned about the angry Chinese government, Tibet declared their independence two years later in 1913. The Tibetan Declaration of Independence was made in the honor of the 13th Dalai Lama and the people of Tibet, unaware that it may spark war later on.
December 7, 1933, the 13th Dalai Lama passed away and two years later, the 14th Dalai Lama was born. He was the next incarnation on the Dalai Lama. This was the uprising conflict in Tibet.
